I have different types of both domestic and international travel experiences, including but not limited to adventure, small group, cruising, and all-inclusive.

The world is full of beautiful landscapes, interesting nature and wildlife, dif...

To celebrate my mom's 60th birthday and promotion at work, we flocked to this bucket list location in October 2023!

Maui

Only a couple main roads to go between towns, so it is easy to navigate around the island. We stayed at the Andaz in Wailea area. A beautiful property with ocean-facing rooms, 3 levels of infinity pools, and a variety of restaurants and bars. We saw a stunning sunset from our balconies!

Road to Hana tour is a must! You could drive it yourself, but then you don't get to focus on the views as much. Aunty Sandy's banana bread along the drive is delicious! The sunrise at Haleakala National Park is very cool as the volcano gradually becomes visible and turns a red hue from the sun - but dress warm because it gets chilly up there!

Kauai

This island is small, very green, and has a lot of adventure options for all activity levels. The locals are laid back and enjoy sharing their way of life with visitors. The beaches are both fun and relaxing.

Kayaking in Hanalei Bay was so beautiful with the mountains in the background. A unique experience was tubing down old canals and through hand-dug tunnels on a plantation - so cool! For the hard-core adventurous people, I would recommend waterfall rappelling - it's a unique and fun way to get to know the nature of Kauai.

No matter the level of activity you like, Hawaii is a great place to visit for couples, families, and friends!
